  1971 –  Going Nowhere – Van Spyk & Friend –  Demo acetate Only

This was a promotional album (acetate) of the first songs that Rob van Spyk and Terry Friend wrote together at the start of their partnership and was never intended for release. Rob played guitar and sang and Terry  joined in on the chorus of the track, ‘When’s it gonna stop!  Ivo-Jan van der Werff, Rob’s cousin, played the recorder and his girl friend, Marion Green, read the poem ‘Garbage Drama’. Only 4 copies of this album (acetate) where produced.

   1974 –  Follow the Sun –  R. J.Van Spyk and Friends – Acorn CF 241

This was Rob and Terry’s first commercial album, on which they were joined by Brian Balster. Terry Friend made a guest appearance on the album; recording his first solo song ‘Come the Day’.

  1974  – Dreaming Again – Stonefield Tramp – Tramp CF 247

Recorded the same year, just five months after ‘Follow the Sun.’ Rob van Spyk and Brian Balster were joined by Chris Sutoris (Bass) and Dave Lloyd (Acoustic and Electric Guitar) 1977 and the the band took the name Stonefield Tramp.

1977 – Come the Day – Terry Friend & Friends –  Tramp THF001

Terry Friends first solo album of self penned songs, in which he was joined by an assortment of musicians from two local bands from the Letchworth, Hertfordshire area.  Quinquereme and Change. The musicians were,Tony Panico (Guitar), Martin Wood (Bass), Keith Farr (Drums), and Maggie Spong (Piano).

2016 – The Acetate – Van Spyk & Friend – Tramp 004

Limited vinyl issue of 250 copies.
The first official issue by Tramp Records of the original 1971 recording of the former acetate album known as ‘Going Nowhere’ by ‘Your Friend Spyk’. Re-titled  as ‘The Acetate’ by ‘Van Spyk and Friend’. Those who purchase the Vinyl edition of this album (a limited edition of 250 copies only) will get a free copy of the CD version.

A limited CD issue of the 0fficial Tramp Records release of the original 1971 recording of the former acetate album known as ‘Going Nowhere’ by ‘Your Friend Spyk’. Now under the title of ‘The Acetate’ by ‘Van Spyk and Friend’.

2017 – Anno Domini – Terry Friend – Tramp THF005

Limited vinyl pressing of 250 albums released in September 2017. This is a solo album by Terry Friend recorded at the FF&G studio’s in the UK in 2016

2009 – Full Circle – Stonefield Tramp – Tramp 006 (Reserved)

For future release. The album ‘Full Circle’ was recorded during Stonefield Tramp’s reunion sessions and is ready for release at a later date.
