The Acetate – 1971/2016
This is a very limited, first time, release of 250 vinyl albums of the original acetate recording of the ‘Going Nowhere’ demo recording that was recorded in 1971 by Rob van Spyk and Terry Friend. The recording was never intended to be released and only 4 acetates where produced for demo purposes. But due to bootlegged versions and requests for either a vinyl or CD issue we have decided to release this very special edition. Only 250 vinyl records have been produced and no further editions will ever be issued in the future. Also, we have manufactured 500 limited edition CD’s and these will be sold as follows; each vinyl album will be sold with a free CD version leaving 250 CD’s available for individual purchases.

The ‘Follow the Sun’ album by R. Van Spyk & Friends was released as a limited vinyl edition of 200 copies in 1974 and was the precursor to the formation of Stonefield Tramp and the release of the album ‘Dreaming Again’ in the same year. We have located a few copies that are in very good condition; with the album’s being unplayed but the covers have the lamination separating from the cover.

Tramp Records release of Terry Friends first solo album, ‘Come the Day’, was released in 1977 with only 200 vinyl copies and no CD’s and has since become a collectors item. We have two copies that are in new condition and available for sale to collectors.
